Roxie Weber Plaza

The Stillwater Housing Authority is proud to offer an alternative living environment for elderly and handicapped residents.  Roxie Weber Plaza has 76 one-bedroom units, and 9 units have been designated especially for the handicapped.

Roxie Weber Plaza is located at 807 S. Lowry in Stillwater, Oklahoma, so it is within walking distance of the Post Office, City Hall, and many businesses in downtown Stillwater.

Elevators provide easy access to each apartment on the upper stories and each apartment has a central air-conditioning and heating unit.

Fire alarms, a sprinkler system, video monitoring cameras in the public areas, and emergency call systems add extra protection for individual residents.

The kitchen in the typical apartment includes a full size refrigerator and range.

Several washer and dryer units, which are supported by the Roxie Weber Residents Association, are available in centralized laundry rooms that are located on each floor.

The centralized mailboxes for each apartment are located near the elevators in the main lobby on the first floor.

The first floor is also the location of the multipurpose meeting area, kitchen facilities, and a craft-exercise room, which are available for use by the residents of the Roxie Weber apartments.

Many people who live in the apartments at the Roxie Weber Plaza enjoy walking with a dog around the numerous paths surrounding the building.

Several people also enjoy planting gardens with flowers or vegetables, or feeding the birds.

In addition to raising a large crop of tomatoes and other vegetables each summer, Clyde Adams also performs his patriotic duty by raising and lowering the American flag, the Oklahoma flag, and the City of Stillwater flag each day.
