Rental Property Locator Guide The
following information is just a rental guide, and not a recommendation to use
the property management companies, landlords and apartment complexes that are
listed below. Although it is expected that most individual landlords and
corporations will conduct their business using professional real estate
practices, and follow the law, a tenant must use good judgment when selecting
rental property. (see Oklahoma Landlord and Tenant Acts) The property management companies, landlords and apartment
complexes listed below are only provided as a guide,
and this does not ensure that the individual or company will participate in
the Section 8 Housing Assistance program. It also does not ensure that your
application to rent a unit will automatically be accepted. You must still
meet the standard screening criteria that the landlord may require, and
provide an appropriate security deposit, which should be the same amount that
is required of any other tenant. Federal law prohibits housing discrimination based on your race,
color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability. If you
have been trying to buy or rent a home or apartment and you believe your
rights have been violated, you can file a fair housing complaint. For more
