Shareware Since 1996 |

About JSurry Shareware
I have been developing shareware since 1996 starting with my
first release of a program called
MoneyTime in late 1996. I recently added
My Funds and
Access FTP to my library of
shareware products. I have always made it a requirement that
any shareware I develop be something I also need and use. This
philosophy results in quality shareware since, as the author of
the program, I also use it for my own needs.
What is shareware?
Shareware is basically a marketing method, not a type of
software. When software is marketed through normal retail
channels, you are forced to pay for the product before you've
ever tried it. The Shareware marketing method lets you try a
program before you buy it. Since you've tried the program, you
know whether it will meet your needs before you pay for it.
Simply download and install the software on your computer and
evaluate it for yourself. If the software meets your needs and
you would like to continue using it beyond the evaluation period,
then you can pay for the software. If the software does not meet
your needs, then you can simply uninstall the software from your
computer.

My Funds![]() |
My Funds is a program for tracking balances and transactions for accounts like checking and savings. Balances provided include Real and Settled. The real balance reflects the balance for all transactions, while the settled balance reflects the balance for only settled transactions. Each transaction, such as check, deposit or withdrawal, has a settled or not settled state indicated by a simple check box. To balance an account with its statement, simply go to the fund's transaction screen and check off each transaction which is settled according to the statement, then compare the settled balance with the statement balance. Visit My Fund's Home Page for more information on the software and how to download and evaluate it for yourself. |

Access FTP is a program with a simple user interface design, making it easy to transfer files using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Use Access FTP for file transfers and managing web sites/FTP space. The simple user interface provides a Local panel on the left for navigating to files and folders on the local machine and a Remote Site panel on the right for navigating to files and folders on the remote site. Features include file uploading and downloading, a progress bar to view the status of file transfers, selecting multiple files at once for transfer, drag and drop files, file renaming and deleting, creating, renaming and deleting folders/directories, opening downloaded/local files quickly using the local machine's application associated to the file's extension, and the Auto file transfer type option for automatically determining a file's transfer type as ASCII or binary.
