Turlock Together

    Turlock Together is a cooperation of non profit organizations, schools, charities, service clubs, businesses and individuals working together to effectively meet the needs of families, children and the elderly in the greater Turlock area.  S&T Railroad and the Oxford Court Neighbors have created a partnership with Turlock Together.  We on Oxford Court promote the Turlock Together Philosophy and provide a collection point for the donation of canned foods and children's toys during the Christmas Season.

    During Christmas 2000, our visitors donated enough canned food to fill seven 55 gallon drums.  They also donated 300 new toys.  Many of our visitors selected a needy child's tag from the Angel Tree and brought back a gift for that specific child.  Thanks to the many thousands of visitors just like you, this program has been very successful.

    If you wish to make a donation, just bring your canned food or unwrapped toy when you come to see the train.  There will be marked blue barrels located in the court for you to place the food or toys in.  You can also pull a tag from the Angel Tree.  Tags identify a needy boy or girl and their age.  You may then come back with a specific toy for that child.
