Our names are Laura Page and Erin O’Bright. We are Certified Fitness Trainers with collectively 20 years of experience in the fitness industry.
Stroller Power is an out-door “bring your baby along” training program that we have developed specifically for pre and post natal women. Our unique workout incorporates cardiovascular, resistance, and flexibility training. It is designed to target specific areas of the body that are weakened by pregnancy weight gain.
Many parents either do not have the opportunity to have child care or feel guilty leaving their children at home when they want to go out and exercise. This program solves that issue.
Physiologically, it is known that exercise increases the levels of serotonin in the brain. This key chemical helps combat depression. Most women experience the “baby blues” ( aka post partum depression) after childbirth which can last many months. After doing this program for more than three years, we have discovered an added benefit; we have been told our program has helped reduce “the blues” and has left these women feeling energized with an increased sense of wellness.
The group setting provides women with a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere where they can share experiences and advice. The children benefit by having interaction with each other and of course...fresh air and sunshine.
Our workout incorporates medicine balls, free weights, rubber tubing and pilates as well as using everything the park has to offer to create a total body workout that will get you the results you want.
We feel that we have created a fitness program that is very special and unique. It’s carefully designed and can be tailored for every individual fitness need.
