KGO Accomplishments
The #1-rated station in the Bay Area for 25 years, KGO has held the #1 overall ranking for 100 consecutive San Francisco Metro Arbitron Ratings.
KGO's 50,000 watt broadcast signal reaches over a million people each week. It can be heard during the day in California as far north as Redding, east to Quincy, south to Fresno and back west to the coast and San Louis Obispo. Evenings, the signal has been known to reach into Canada, as far east as Colorado and deep into Mexico.
