Hi, and thanks for visiting our page. My name is Gipper. I am a pug dog. I was born on Jan 10th, 1998 in a small town just north of here in Washington State. I had 4 sisters and 1 brother. I was what they call the alpha, or KING of the litter. I always got my way. When I was 6 weeks old I came here to live with my mom and dad and boy was I lucky to get picked by them. Bugsy and I are spoiled rotten. I love my mom and dad. They are the best. We get all kinds of goodies. Sometimes when we are good mommy will bake homemade cookies for us. Mmmm do I love those. She also takes us to an off leash dog park nearby for big pug parties. I have made lots of friends there. It is a really fun place to go. This last Christmas a TV show called Pets: Part of the Family, came and taped our pug party. It just aired on PBS and I was on it, though not as much as Bugsy. I think they liked Bugsy cause of his extra "fluff". Mom and Dad also take me on lots of trips. We go camping a lot. Last time we went we rented a big car like thing, I think they call it a motorhome. Boy did we have fun. I get to play with all my cousins when we go too. They also have taken me to Florida, not once but twice. I get to fly in a special suitcase that fits under the seat in the cabin of the airplane. We went to see my grandma in Florida. She has a pool which I loved to swim in. Some of my favorite things to do are, bark at strangers, do the Pugtona 500 around the house, sit on my daddy's lap, torment Bugsy, and help mom clean the dishes in the kitchen sink. I don't know why she get so mad when I climb up there, I'm just trying to help. I also like to get things I'm not supposed to have and get mom to chase me around the house. I don't do that when dad is here cause I will get in big trouble. I ate his cell phone and ever since then I am really careful to only make mommy chase me. I have to be a good boy when daddy is here so I try to impress him. He used to say I was the worst brat ever but I think he mis-took that for my energy and curious nature. I try to keep my athletic figure for the most part and do lots of exercise. I don't want to disappoint all my girlfriends. I've kept my weight at 23 pounds. I'm a little tall for a pug so the vet says that weight is perfect. Mom has put Bugsy on diet dog food so I have to eat it too and sometimes have to resort to getting my own "cookies" out of the cupboard. They are so good.
