As you may recall if you read the last installment of Theala's Gossip, I recently ran a mega-adventure for a large group of players grandly titled DelmarvaCon I. The session was a complete success--and impressed Chris 3000 miles away so much that he decided to drop me some Stick Figure highlights, which I am proud to share with you. It's about time I put up some new Stick Figure anyway.

If you've read my write up in Gossip, you know the story: the heroes get drawn together in Hudson City by a series of mysterious blue lights dumps visitors from alien worlds into our own. One visitor, known only as the Drifter, enlists the aid of the heroes to "destroy the serpents nest". Above you see one of the heroes, Umrich of Lorbane, member of the Purists of Nid spell college. The Purists of Nid pride them selves on Power above all else--control is for wimps.

Here is most of the Delmarvacon gang. Left to right are Joe Superhero! (Ron Cole), Mongo Skrudgemire (Alex Kenlon), Umrich (Andrew Hobbs), The Claw (David Majors), Drifter (Morgan Hazel), and Viperia (me!).

The Delmarvacon crew quickly learned that their opponent was VIPER, after Viperia led a team of agents to kidnap mathemetician Dr. Herbert Miller. Here, Joe Superhero! learns that just because you can fly Mach 7, doesn't mean you should when it means you're teammates are twenty minutes behind you.

Not one to let VIPER keep the upper hand, The Claw gives VIPER agents a pointed lesson. Hey, at least she's cheap to feed.

How Mongo and Umrich really see each other. Mongo is a half-ogre from an unknown universe. He was swept into the World of the Nexus some time ago by the evil arch lich Galerus, and there met up with Umrich who was also dumped into the Nexus to it's dismay (and Lorbane's relief). The two have since found service with King Taran of Talath--but it's a tenous friendship at best.

The Delmarvacon Gang finally tracked Viperia and her agents to a strange pyramid built on True Magnetic North, where the Supreme Serpent was building a Trans Dimentional Device. Tired of playing around with Viperia, Joe Superhero! tries to take her out in one shot--by performing a Move Through at SIXTY inches. Here you see the result.

Shortly after Joe crashes into the pyramid, the faltering agents are joined by the Supreme Serpent himself! Well, actually, it's the Dragon Ignoth (Champions in 3D), who got caught up in the same Rifts in the Nexus that brought the other heroes here--and all he wants is to go home. Unbeknownst to Mongo, Ignoth had taken his little sister, Melody Spritehaven, on a picnic--and he wanted to get her home before supper. Unfortunately, Alicia of the Space Marines (Barbara Zoellner) decides on Death Before Dishonor, and tries to take Ignoth on single handedly.
