The Artwork of Denise Smith

Artists often use models to help them figure out just the right pose for a particular illustration. It's handy when you're married to your model, as is Greg Smith. So if you've wondered where Greg gets his busty inspiration, well, now you know. But Denise has got more than looks going for her. She's a talented artist in her own right. She did several wonderful sketches for our Bloodmoon Sisterhood campaign, a short lived Fantasy Hero campaign made up of exclusively women characters (and players!) set in TSR's World of Greyhawk.

• Selena bint Istus. Selena is my priestess of Istus, Lady of Fate. Forgive the slight fuzziness of the pictures: Denises drawings are pencil sketches, and these were the best scans we could make. You can see Selena holding the banner of the Bloodmoon Sisterhood, capped with a sacred blade that is a detachable dagger.
• Ketahrazad Magi Ketahrazad is Denise's Fire Mage (the name literally means "flame of Ket"), holding her Flame Blade as she looks out over the desert. Also pictured is an NPC from the game, Azure Mancatcher, a warrioress from the East.
• The Bloodmoon Sisterhood at home. Here you can see the Sisterhood relaxing in the home of Ketarahzad's husband (whom you can see peaking in the background. The Sisterhood is a secret organization in an Arabic style world, so the ladies are very careful to keep their activities a secret from their husbands!
