The Artwork of Louis Frank
As a favor, Louis gave me two inks in return for helping him with his ill-fated Circle of Light Project: a comic meant for the pages of the Eroica APA, but which for varying reasons never saw the light of day. I wrote a short story, based on his storyboards, which was going to be the script for a four part comic appearing the Eroica. I may make that short story available one of these days. If I'm lucky, I may be able to convince Louis to finish the comic.
- Lionheart What? you ask. Didn't I just see this on Greg Smith's section? Yup. You did. Louis did the first impression of Lionheart based on an adventure and character write up I published in Eroica issue #1 called A Matter of Heart. I later re-wrote and published that adventure in the Hero Games periodical The Adventurer's Club, issue # 26, minus the character write-up. You can find Lionheart's full current write-up and character sheet in the Defenders of Hudson City campaign section of Theala's Page.
- Emerald. Emerald was the first character I ever created on my own with the Hero System. It took me three hours, working at a dimly lit nurses station at the hospital where I was working nights at the time. She's underdone many revisions, but her basic personality is unchanged. I've always been rather fond of her. Her writeup can also be found in the Defenders campaign section. The original piece was done in black and white, I colorized it using Paint Shop Pro, so if you don't like my color choices, blame me.
