Award Homes

Unless you've been living in a vacuum for the past several years you know all about Award Homes and how they seem to be very aggressive in wanting to build their 677 home West of Fairview development. They've even gone so far as to file a 56 million dollar lawsuit against LAFCO for denying their annexation request.

I'm not going to give my opinion as to whether I WANT to see 677 new homes in town, but I will give my opinion that I don't think now is the time for them. If Award Homes wants to show us they are anything but greedy pillagers, then they should realize that our frail city simply can't handle them right now. Perhaps they should drop the lawsuit and lay low for a few years until our infrastructure catches up. Then they can come on back and start fresh, and their act of compassion during our hard times won't be forgotten!
