I was born on December 20, 1953 and baptized on February 14, 1954 in Taos, New Mexico. My mother (Marilyn Burt Hokanson), Father (Gerald Gene Hokanson) and brother (James Christopher) lived in the fire station where my dad volunteered. We moved to Gallup where younger brother David Gregory (1956) came along. Then on to Santa Fe where my first sister Jean Terese (1958) was born. Now a family of 6, we then moved to Albuquerque, Espanola, and back to Albuquerque in quick succession.

In 1961, we move to San Antonio which became home to me since we lived there for 10 years. I went to St. Paul's Catholic School (2nd - 6th) then Sul Ross Middle School and finally Oliver Wendell Holmes High School, graduating in 1972. During our years in San Antonio, two more siblings arrived: Shawn Michael (1963) and Jennifer Ann (1971)

My parents took off for El Paso as I took off for San Marcos where I earned an Undergraduate Degree in Management Information Systems from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) in May 1977.

Cloud Callout: Next time they ask I'll tell them I have to clean out the gutters
Cloud Callout: I caught 6 and Tom just tangled his line
Cloud Callout: I gotta go!
Cloud Callout: Can you untie me now?
