Biography of: Nathan B. Trude.
26. Nathan B.3 TRUDE, (Norris Henry2 , John1), born 1817 in New York; died 19 Feb 1876; buried Allison Township Reformed Cemetery, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was married Jan 1847, Utica, New York to Sarah B. MAHER. Nathan served in the Civil War as Private, Company K, 84th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Clearfield County; he enlisted March 28, 1864 and was discharged June 29th 1865 after being wounded. Nathan was wounded at the battle of Pleasant Hill in Virginia on the 1st day of June 1864; a gun shot wound struck him just above the left hip and passed between the skin and backbone across to the right side of the spine where it lodged. He was awarded a pension of $5.33 per month.

Note: the NY census for 1850 shows a Trude family living in the township of Italy in Yates county with the following names: Anthony B. Trude, Byron S. Trude, Mary J. Trude, and Sarah Trude.  However, The name Anthony was clearly written over the name Nathan.
