5. Nathan B.2 TRUDE, (John1), born 18 Sep 1794, in Beckert, Berkshire County, Massachusetts; died 6 Nov 1878 in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York, He married Mary C. HARTWELL, born 3 Oct 1797, Northumberland. She was the daughter of Daniel Hartwell and Elizabeth Keys and a sister to Elizabeth who married Nathan's brother John Albert. About 1800, Nathan's family moved to Saratoga County, New York where he later wed Mary. He was listed, in the 1820 census, as living in the town of Northumberland with a family numbering 4 males and 2 females. It is said they moved to St Lawrence County, New York in 1825 and lived in the towns of Louisville and Waddington. The 1850 census shows them in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York with daughter Olive and it is there that Nathan and Mary eventually died.
