8. Nelson A.³ TRUDE, (John Albert², John¹), born about 1814 Jefferson County, New York. He married Lucia FRANK, daughter of Abaz and Marcia FRANK. Nelson First appeared as head of household in the 1845 New York census, for Gerry, Chautauqua County, New York, with 1 female. The 1855 census for Stockton, Chautauqua County, New York, lists him and his wife Lucia, both age 41; Abaz & Marcia Frank, Lucia's parents were living with them.

  41.    i.  Betsey A.4 TRUDE, born about 1836.

  42.   ii.  Charles N. TRUDE, born about 1840; died 12 Jun 1850. 

  43.  iii.  Jeannett Polly TRUDE, born 12 Aug 1844.

  44.   iv.  Mary J. TRUDE, born about 1847, died 24 Feb 1849.

  45.    v.  Walter Holt TRUDE, born about 1848. 

  46.   vi.  Elinda TRUDE, born about 1858.

  47.  vii.  Enwilla TRUDE, born 1862.

Note:  The two children that died are burried in Hollenbeck Cemetery, Ellicott, Chautauqua County, N.Y.
