Day 22 - January 29

      Good Morning.
Stephanie has been safely transported by private plane from Denver to Austin and is getting settled at the Texas NeuroRehab Center on the south side of Austin. Heather was able to accompany Stephanie, Sandra Rogers (the volunteer flight nurse), and the pilot at the last minute. Many thanks to the Englewood Fire Department and the Austin Fire Department for the assistance loading and unloading Stephanie from/to the ambulance and plane.
Bill was waiting for Stephanie at TNRC when she arrived and they have met many of the nurses and therapists she will see daily while she is there. Heather will drive up to Austin on Friday (as soon as she finishes typing this) to join Bill and Stephanie and meet the staff. Stephanie's mother, Sheila, will arrive as soon as she is able.
It is our understanding that Stephanie will be "worked" as much as physically and mentally possible so that she can return to "normal" life, although "life" will never be quite the same. The Lord has used this experience to open all of our eyes and Stephanie realizes that He has a purpose and a plan for her, as He does for all of us.
Thank you, again, for all you have done and continue to do. We still have a long way to go...but one day at a time. Please continue to pray for healing, direction & guidance, courage, stillness, peace, understanding, strength, safe transportation to and from Harlingen/Austin, reassurance for our two little ones at home, gratitude for all He (and you) has done, financial wisdom, and however else the Lord leads you.
God Bless. Bill, Heather, & Stephanie Adair
