"What do you want to be when you grow up?" Haven't we all been asked that?  It is strange that even as young children, our "want to be" is some profession or another - fireman, doctor, vet, etc.  When is it in life when we discover that what we get paid to be isn't necessarily "who" or "what" we are? At 40ish, I am sure I have not yet fulfilled the role I was intended for.  But I continue, each day, to strive toward it while playing the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, librarian, webmaster, contributor, caretaker, supporter, and more.  One day I will complete the race.  Until then, may the Lord be my guide.
