• At the regular May 2001 board meeting of Webster Groves Christian Church, the directors voted unanimously for our congregation to become a Faith Beyond Walls congregation. What is Faith Beyond Walls? And what does it mean for WGCC to be affiliated?

• Faith Beyond Walls is a joint initiative of Interfaith Partnership and the Clergy Coalition. This unprecedented collaboration moves across racial and faith lines in the pursuit of service to the neighborhoods of our city. Faith Beyond Walls is governed by a board and led by an executive. Funding comes from St. Louis 2004 and the Danforth Foundation.

• Our congregation may participate with its people power. When Faith Beyond Walls identifies a project that is crafted in partnership with the needs of particular neighborhoods, a call will go out to our members to give a day and join their faith and love with those from many other faith traditions to make a difference.
