An Ebay bargain and a four day road trip to the Niagera Emporium in Niagera WI., brings home a Fairbanks 1050 Baggage Scale. Special Thanks to Ray for allowing us to store scale in his depot for 10 months.

Restoring Depot Park back to it's original design is one of the things that will make the Wharton Depot Restoration stand out. We are looking for photos of not only the Wharton Depot Park but of other Depot Parks of similar design. Plant material, park layouts, logos, construcion material used, or some of the many items we are trying verify.

The T&NO used a tropical setting for many of it's park, trying to lure northerner to Texas to purchase railroad property they had acquired as they built railroad across Texas. "Come To Texas You Can Farm Year Round"
