Great Kiskadee (Pitangus sulphuratus)

Field Marks:

 

9 3/4" (Robin-Sized).  Has a heavy black billed, flycatcher with a bold black and white head pattern.  White eyebrows and throat, with a broad black mask crossing from the base of its bill through its eyes to nape. Wings and tail are Rufous.  It's underparts are yellow.


Voice: Noisy and active bird. 


Where found: Resident from s. Texas south to Argentina.  Sometimes is found in other southern states.
