Inca Dove (Scardafella inca)

Field Marks: A very small dove with a pale, scaly appearance.
Voice: Two notes of nearly even emphasis ooh-coo. Also 'kink-ka-doooo'
Range: Southwest United States south to Northwest of Costa Rica. In Texas, north along coast locally to Galveston, Houston; and North to Big Spring, San Angelo, Coleman, Austin, Bryan, Rio Grande to El Paso. They are spreading their range.
Habitat: Towns, gardens, chicken pens, parks, farms.
