Welcome to “Birds of Texas ”. Many of the photographs of birds were
taken while we lived in Sugar Land, Texas. The rest are from the San Antonio,
Texas area or while on vacation where I could take pictures of birds that are
also found in Texas. I will continue to add
new photographs as I obtain them.

Hummingbirds then check out this site. Otherwise enjoy looking at the pictures
and information of birds that I have compiled. I began
with a Nikon N2020 but when that body wore out migrated to a Nikon N90S. I recently
upgraded to a Nikon D70S digital body. I will continue to use the Tamron 200 - 400 mm lens to capture shots
of birds. Some
of the older shots I took using a camcorder and converted them to a gif file
using Snappy.
