Moral DK's Steak and
Burger Marinade
...and Yes, you can marinade burgers.
-
Half cup Worchestershire
-
Half cup Soy Sauce
-
A few drops of "Wrights" liquid smoke. (I prefer the Mesquite flavor,
but use it sparingly, as too much will cause a bitter taste.)
-
A few drops of Sesame oil
-
As much minced garlic as you want (I use at least 2 tablespoons)
-
Black Pepper...Lots of it! (Use a spice grinder or hammer and make it
course...very course)
-
Then add enough Yellow Mustard to make it a nice light brown color.
Pour over burgers or steaks for 1 hour. (Roughly the time it
takes to drink a four-pak of Guiness)
(You can even mix a little into the burger while forming patties)
Cook over hardwood charcoal fire...the way GOD intended!
Grill should be hot enough to sear outside quickly.
NEVER EVER squeeze the juice out of a burger while cooking.
